Still trying to work out the scanner. It's my Pa's and he thinks it might be messed up. If so, then I'll have to get a new one. That might take a little while, seeing as I don't have much money. But we shall see!
I've been putting music onto my laptop. I realized I got bored easily if there wasn't any music playing. I got that solved now. Yay!
Well . . . time to clean my room. XD

Sick Week, Happy Day
Wow! I had a very good day today. :D I'm really happy about that, as that makes up for how this week went.
I had actually fallen ill on Monday. Some nasty stuff that was quite painful. I won't go into the details, unless you ask and I feel it's appropriate to tell.
I've been home since then, recovering. And today I am feeling a ton better. I realize going out and seeing some of my friends, whom I haven't talked to in a while, helped greatly. :D And just other things like having a good conversation with my big sis (who I don't get to see that much because of her work.), seeing my god parents after quite a few years, getting into a very funny

Jeez! It's crazy how busy I am. But it's very fun. :D
I'm actually in the middle of three art contests from the three groups I joined. What a bundle to get after just joining Deviant! :XD: I'm almost done with one, and I hoping to finish it tomorrow. It's for the 'Life Swap' contest that ends this Sunday. Then, I have the other two which are Halloween contests. :P What fun!
On the 'Life Swap' one, I was thinking of showing the 'progress' of the drawing, submitting different parts of it's stages. Of course, I won't submit any of it until I'm done. Don't want to spoil the surprise. Haha!
The art I have submitted so far is all older stuff. So

I'm starting to get to know a lot more people on Deviantart, which is good. I'm also becoming more familiar with how it works here. That all seems to be contributing with me getting better known. It's fun. :D
I'm in the middle of an art contest now. I joined a group who is in the middle of a 'Swap Lives' art contest. It's where you choose a character with whom you'll swap lives with. You can draw yourself with their life, them with yours or both. I'm really excited, but I started yesterday with only 5 days left. Lol.

Fun Sunday.
I celebrated my younger brother's birthday last Sunday. It was simple, but fun. :D We went to this park high up in the hills and played football. Agh, my arm . . . I'm a pretty sporty girl (I love football!) but after I finished High School, I just haven't been as active. I need to do more activities on the weekends . . .
The funny thing about the park though, is that it was very close to some of the fires we had here in Cali. So, you look at the park and it's super green. Then, you look at the hill and they're all brown and have dead trees. What a delight. :D
